Neighbourhood Police Inspector in Stockport. Alongside community and other service providers using co-production methods to reduce influence of far right, improve community cohesion, prevent crime and ASB. Some of the platforms for achieving this have been and are: the use of participatory budgeting, community led commissioning and ownership of services, Good Relations approach, community led restorative justice and working towards a model of managing offenders within the community as an alternative to custody or other forms of traditional justice sanctions and assisting non statutory offenders rehabilitate within community. Have influenced to date the Home Office approach to community engagement and featured in much of Baroness Newlove's recent work around safe and active communities.
