Co-pro Commissioning Champions in Wales

Last year Co-pro Wales linked up with Julia Slay to run two three-day Co-pro Commissioning Masterclasses in north and south Wales. The attendees were a dynamic and varied crowd - from Welsh Government, local authorities, health boards, statutory and third-sector organisations. They are now putting what they have learned in to practice. Here, in no particular order, are some of the highlights: Children’s Commissioning Consortium Cymru (4Cs)Adopting co-production principles in our regional needs…See More

Holding our leaders' feet to the fire - co-pro at a tipping point in Wales?

Over the past two years, we have, collectively, helped to build an active and knowledgeable community of practice in Wales, internationally acknowledged and often world-leading.The result has been a slow but sure shift in the direction of transformative co-production, the first tentative steps towards a realignment of the relationship between state and citizens based on trust, on equal and reciprocal relationships. We have a potentially radical Social Services & Well-being Act, a National…See More

Hi Ruth,

I've been following you/this group from a distance from the beginning. Had to disappear for a year or two because our time bank development has been a bit much to handle--the kind of problem I (suppose I) am glad to have.

Thank you for the work you've done. This is impressive!
