For all of those based in and around London, you may be interested to know that there is an upcoming practitioners meeting planned for November the 30th between 10-12.

What does co-production mean for organisations?

One of the difficulties for pioneer co-producers is that they often seem to fly in the face of the way public services have been developing over the past generation.

They rely on face to face influence when the trend has been virtual.  They appeal to general skills when the trend has been increasingly specialist.  They believe in ordinary skills, amateur in the best sense, when the trend has been increasingly over-professionalised.

Calling all practitioners: an evidence based review of co-production

Calling all practitioners

nef is working on writing up a review of the literature on co-production. The aim of the review is to gather and analyse information on the effectiveness of co-production as an approach to delivering public services: specifically looking at where it has been shown to improve outcomes, and impact on the cost effectiveness of services.

The review will cover all sectors and we hope to publish the report by December.

Social Action Fund launch - with funding available

The social action fund aims to 'inspire organisations to create new social action opportunities through people giving what they have, be that their time, their money, or their assets, knowledge and skills'. Call for Proposals to increase giving and exchange of time, assets, skills, resources and money
